Relationship Breakdown

What is a relationship?  ‘The state of being connected or related’.

When relationships breakdown, there tends to be a lack of honesty, communication and awareness.

At Which Direction, we will work together to address, resolve, assist you in moving forward around your relationship issues.

We will work with families, couples, young people etc. Presenting issues can range from domestic violence, bullying, substance misuse, jealousy, controlling behaviours, self esteem, family conflict, co-dependency, consequences of stressful events, coping strategies, risk-taking behaviours, peer group pressures, parental pressures, sexuality issues, workplace relationships, separation, divorce, blended family issues, cultural issues, bereavement and partner relationships.

Once people understand the basis of a good relationship, then this enables them to better understand failed relationships. This includes understanding conflict, developing lack of skills/experience, recognising negative behaviours, identifying unhealthy relationships i.e abuse, rejection, co-dependence, transference, culture, sexual relationships and friendships which do not consist of trust and respect.

At Which Direction, we will support you in addressing your issues through looking at-:

· Attachments

At Which Direction - understanding relationships can also be a learning process for you. It is our intention to assist you in making positive decisions with your relationship issues. This process will consist of evaluating your issues and exploring the impacts.

Your issues will clearly be unique to you as an individual, family or couple and will be treated sensitively and in confidence.
